Offered is a original German wartime issued Mother’s Cross or ‘Honour Cross to the German Mother’ in Bronze grade. The cross offered is void of its attachment ribbon or issuing box but is in good condition with much of its enamel intact; some oxidation being noted. The reverse has the stamped inscription of “Der Deutschen Mutter” (“To the German Mother”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. Dezember 1938” and a signature of the Führer being noted. A good wartime militaria piece priced to sell.
