(H) Staffel of Aufklärungsgruppe 14, flying as an observer on Focke-Wulf Fw.189 ‘UHU’ reconnaissance planes over the Eastern Front. The lot offered includes:
One oild cloth four sided ‘Luftwaffenbeobachterschein’ (Luftwaffe Aerial Observers License), issued in October 1940, and includes typed entries, official stampings and a passphoto uniformed pic of SANIO attached. The ‘Luftwaffenbeobachterschein’ has an ink signature of Luftwaffe Oberst Dr. WALTHER GNAMM Walther Gnamm (Later promoted to Generalmajor).
One typed official document from Nahaufklärungsgruppe 3, congratulating SANIO on his flying accomplishments, dated in 1942, and complete with the ink signature of the units Gruppenkommandeur Major HERBERT BÖHM! The document has fold lines and paper separation with tape on reverse securing the pieces in place.
