Offered is a complete original German wartime Wehrpass for a WW1 veteran who served as a unteroffizier in the Imperial German Army, during which time he was awarded the Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse (EK.II) and the Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer medal. The holder of the wehrpass was listed as being in numerous engagements from 1915 to 1918, with two hospital stays recorded due to wounds / illness. The holder was deactivated from Imperial German Army service in 1918, however was recalled to army (Wehrmacht) service in 1937. During his recall time, the holder of the Wehrpass underwent weapons training and a number of specialty training courses, including one on mine warfare! There are no WW2 active engagements noted in the wehrpass. The Wehrpass is complete with handwritten and stamped entries along with an attached passphoto pic of the holder affixed to the inside. Included with the wehrpass is a official military call up notice for the holder of the grouping dated in 1937. Really a beautifully preserved wartime wehrpass complete with all pages accounted for.
