Offered is a wonderful ID document / paper award grouping for a German man who saw early membership in ‘Der Stahhelm Bund der Frontsoldaten’ (German: 'The Steel Helmet, League of Front-Line Soldiers') veterans organization and later was called up for reserve service with the Wehrmacht with the start of war in 1939!
The grouping offered includes the following:
One wartime issued fifty-four page Wehrpass, which includes handwritten entries, official stampings and a passphoto pic of the for the holder of the grouping. Shows no combat entries with the holder being placed in reserve status with the Wehrmacht.
One wartime issued sixteen page (not including inserts) ‘N.S. Deutscher Frontkampfer-Bund (Stahlhelm)’ Mitgliedsbuch (membership book). The book is complete with handwritten ntries, official stampings, a passphoto pic of the holder of the grouping and membership dues stamps! Some pages are coming loose but still a very, very good complete Stahlhelm Bund membership book!
One paper ‘Ehrenkreuz fur Frontkampfer’ (Honour Cross) award document for the holder of the grouping (issued 1935).
One paper ‘Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse’ (War Merit Cross 2. Class) for the holder of the grouping (issued un 1944).
Two paper Wehrmacht call up service notices for the holder of the grouping (dated 1939), showing activation for military service.
