Being offered is a one-of-a-kind wartime photo album for a German Waffen SS soldier! The photo album has a beautiful leather cover with a stahlhelm helmet insignia embossed on it. The album itself contains one hundred and seventeen (117) untouched wartime photos, covering the wartime life of this Waffen SS soldier. All the photos are securely affixed with nothing appearing to be altered or removed (same themes, faces, etc. seen throughout)!
Photos show rare views of Waffen SS officers, soldiers, vehicles (trucks / motorcycles), weapons, funerals and graves, SS feldgendarmerie and SS polizei troops, drilling, unit ceremonies, posing with comrades, Wiking unit Totenkopf emblems seen throughout, etc. Very little in terms of scenic views wiht nearly every view being of uniformed SS troops (most scenic views are regulated to five postcards in the album)! From signs visible in some of the photos, this soldier spent at least some of his wartime in occupied Poland, Czechoslovakia and Norway with movement later to the Ostfront!
