Bargain Lot (2) SS Feldpost: Letters to German SS Doctor Assigned to SS Polizei Regiment 22 During Occupation in WARSCHAU, Poland 1942-43!!!
Offered is a neat and rare grouping of two SS feldpost letters sent to a German Doctor assigned to SS Polizei Regiment 22 during its occupation duty time in Warschau, Poland between 1942-43! Both envelopes contain a two page handwritten letter from a loved one, written in German handwritten script. It should be noted that SS Polizei Regiment 22 was heavily involved in the putting down of the Warsaw Uprising in 1943,and was implicated in many attrocities during the war - including the murder and deportation of Jews in Poland and the East. Really a good rare little lot to a unit with a very grim history in the war.
