Offered is a complete original German wartime Wehrpass for a WW1 veteran of the Kaiserliche Marine (Imperial German WW1 Navy); seing service on the Bremen class light Kreuzer SMS BERLIN. The Wehrpass is complete with handwritten and stamped entries along with an attached passphoto pic of the holder affixed to the inside. The wehrpass shows this WW1 veteran was recalled to service with the German Kriegsmarine (Navy), with early wartime service being with Armee-Nachrichten Park 561. The wehrpass has no listed combat engagements, but does offer many great details of this sailors service; including that he received two promotions in 1940, to the rank of gefreiter and then later to obergefreiter!
