Offered is a very rare original Luftwaffe Feldwebel airmans Wehrpass, who saw extensive wartime service with a number of units, including Transportfliegergeschwader 4 & 5.
The wehrpass offered has numerous handwritten entries throughout, official stampings, ink signatures and notations along with a passphoto pic of the holder of the book. The wehrpass shows the holder entered military service with the Luftwaffe in 1938, initially being assgned to a construction bau kompanie (Bau Kompanie 14/III) before quickly being reassigned to a flying training school (Flug Ausb. Regiment 32) in 1940. The holder would attended a number of technical schools, eventually being trained as a bordmechaniker (flight mechanic). Between 1943 and 1945, the holder would see service in a number of Luftwaffe transport units including:
Erg. Staffel Me-323 (Which trained aircrews on the Messerschmitt Me-323 Gigant Heavy Transport Plane)

The wehrpass shows that the holder saw extensive service in Southern France, Romania and Italy. In June of 1944, notations in the wehrpass shows the holder participating in re-supply operations over the ‘Invasionfront’ (D-Day). Other details show wonderful details of the wartime life of the holder, such as being trained on the MG-15 machine gun, being awared the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern (War Merit Cross w/ Swords) in 1944, etc. The wehrpass has no pages missing and is complete with all fifty-two pages securely bound to the cover.
Also included tucked into the wehrpass is a two page ‘Beurteilung’ (military evaluation) document for the holder during his service time with Transportfliegergeschwader 4, which showed him fit for duty and enthusiastic, with a further recommendation for him to be promoted to the rank of feldwebel.
