Offcer is a rare original German Luftwaffe pilots Segelflug Flugbuch (Glider Training Flight Log). The log book has all eighteen pages present, on which are recorded some one hundred and ten (110) aerial flights, all completed in 1943! The flights are on a variety of German wartime gliders including the Schulgeleiter SG.38, Grunau 2b and Kranich II gliders. Many of the pages are brittle with chipping and coming unattached from the cover, which has yellow cloth tape affixed on the spine to reinforce the cover / pages. Still this is a very rare and seldom seen version of this flight log, which is complete with handwritten entries and official stampings.
