Accompanying award ribbon, again in wonderful condition with fraying at cut ends.

Original award citation for this Iron Cross, complete with ink signature of Generalmajor WILHELM SOTH (Kommandeur 3. Panzer Division and Knights Cross recipient).

Original blue paper packet of issue for Iron Cross (2. Klasse), with holders name and date of 1945 handwritten on top border.

A torn feldpost envelope with a letter to the wife of the holder of the award from a oberleutnant forwarding the award to her; indicating the holder was possible killed or missing in action.

The paper items have obvious wear of creasing where they were folded for storage. Still a very beautiful complete late war Eisernes Kreuz grouping with wonderful documentation and background, not too be missed!
