Being offered is a wonderful grouping to a German man who served in the German Imperial Army as a pionier during the First World War and went on to join and serve as a Leutnant in the stab (command) of Bau-Ersatz-Bataillon 8 (Construction Battalion) in the postwar Reichswehr Army and then the Wehrmacht, before receiving a medical discharge from service in 1939. The grouping includes the following:

  • Wartime issued Wehrmacht Wehrpass, complete with handwritten entries, official stampings, added insert pages and a passphoto pic of the holder of the book. Many great details including the holder being awarded the several medals, engagements he particpated in during his First World War service, postwar entry into the Reichswehr and then his Wehrmacht service.

  • A portrait sized studio pic of the holder of this grouping posed in German Reichswehr Army uniform with his WW1 medals worn and his ink signature on the bottom border of the pic (measuring to be approximately 5.5” x 3.5” inches in size).

  • Three folded paper documents showing the holder of this grouping receiving various vaccinations; dated between 1946-1949, showwing that he survived the war.
