Offered is a very unique wartime Verwundetenabzeichen (Wound Badge) in Silver issued for a Wehrmacht obergefreiter who served with Sperrkompanie 955 (Blocking Kompany), which was issued in 1945. The award document is complete with official stampings, typed information and original ink signatrue of the issuing officer. The uniquness of the document is that it is in a presentation box issued by the Nazi NSDAP Gauleitung Office in SAXONY, Germany! The box has some wear along the cover of the spine but the lid is fully attached with the award document set inside along withe a NSDAP presentation inscription just inside the lid! These are very reare presentation boxes with only a few seen in my lifetime of collecting. Not one too be missed!
