ID Document & Uniform Item Lot: German Volkssturm Home Guard Members Soldbuch & Late War Issued Armband!!!
Being offered is a rare grouping to a German man who was activated by the SAARBRUCKEN Land Division of the Volkssturm home dfense on March 8, 1945! The grouping includes:
Wartime issued Volkssturm Soldbuch (Pay Book). All fourteen pages present, with handwritten entries and official Volkssturm stamping present - no holder passphoto, which is not unusual for these late war Soldbuch’s.
Late war issued original cloth machine woven ‘Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht’ armband, in very good condition considering age. The ends where the armband was removed has fraying to the cloth, with only other note being a red ink stain to the right side of the armband.
A small but rare grouping to a rarely seen home defense force of the Reich. Not one too be missed; priced to sell!
