ID Document: Luftwaffe Wehrpass for Unteroffizier Pilot Trainee Assigned to Flak Units (Flak Abteilungs 384 / 293)!!!

Offered is an original German wartime issued Wehrpass for a Luftwaffe soldier, who initially trained as a pilot in 1939 with Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 61; with a specialty in air-sea rescue operations. By 1943, this same Luftwaffe airman was assinged to Luftwaffe Flak training. By 1945, this Luftwaffe airman served in a number of Flak units, including Flak Abteilung 384(v) and Flak Abteilung 293(v), which was assigned to the defense of TIER / SAAR (Luftgau XIV) area of Germany. The Wehrpass shows that the holder of this book trained on a number of small arms, but also on Flak 30/38 2cm guns and Flak 37 8.8cm guns. Notations in the Wehrpass further show that the holder was awarded the EKII (Iron Cross 2. Class) in 1945.

The Wehrpass is complete with all pages present, with numerous handwritten entries, official stampings and a passphoto pic of the holder all being present (see scans). Really a excellent Luftwaffe Wehrpass for a pilot trainee / flak soldier, who saw active wartime service. Not too be missed!
